Nicholasville Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resident Lori Shaw’s Success Story!

Mrs. Lori Shaw was admitted to Nicholasville in April of this year after a brief hospital stay due to complications from chronic respiratory failure. She initially was very weak and required total assistance with all her activities of daily living tasks and needed extensive help with transferring. Working directly with occupational and physical therapy to address her deficits in balance, activity tolerance, strength, and safety, she was able to regain her overall independence! She can now complete all daily self-care tasks independently and do meal preparation and housekeeping tasks again. Congratulations to Mrs. Shaw and her Care Team on their success!
