Nicholasville Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resdient Dorothy “Dot” Thomas’ Success Story!

When Mrs. Dot Thomas arrived at Nicholasville Nursing and Rehabilitation, she needed moderate assistance with daily tasks, minimal help with walking, and was experiencing mild confusion. After three weeks of skilled therapy, Dot and her family decided she would remain as a long-term resident. Since then, she’s continued therapy and has made incredible progress. Thanks to our dedicated therapy and nursing teams, Dot now completes most daily activities with only supervision—requiring minimal assistance only for showering. Her cognition has returned to her previous level, and she’s able to walk around her room independently. Dot enjoys participating in activities and has made many new friends in our community!
